To say that being a grandparent today is a bit complicated is like saying Calculus is 1+1=2.
While the core principles endure, there has been a significant evolution. The foundational desires such as aspiring to be the most exceptional grandparent or wishing to enrich these young lives with wisdom and guide them towards a fulfilling and prosperous life remain unchanged. The real challenge lies in implementing actions within family relationships that propel you towards achieving these noble goals.
In my first book about grandparents, I concluded with the statement, "Life is complicated, family life is even more complicated, and extended family life is exponentially complicated." To put it in a colloquial metaphor, "Just chew on that one for a moment."
